About the Section
The Trusts and Estates Section provides networking opportunities and educational programs for trust and estate attorneys, and acts as liaison to the Probate Court. Currently, there are approximately 305 members in the Trusts and Estates Section.
Access Information regarding Probate Cases Online! The documents filed in probate cases are visible on DOMAIN Web at http://www.alameda.courts.ca.gov/courts/. This applies to all filings after January 30, 2006, with certain exceptions.
For confidential case types, conservatorship and guardianship, images remain inaccessible on the web; (California Rule of Court 7023). The Probate Operations Committee identified other confidential case types and filings that will not have images on the web.
The rule for Probate Examiner's Checklist has not changed. The checklist is visible on all Probate cases from June 2003 on.
